ODI 5x5 Upgrade News - January 7, 2015

The WIYN ODI focal plane with 13 detectors has been extracted from the dewar and secured in the shipping fixture just before the Holidays. Today we brought the focal plane in its container to ITL where the new detectors are going to be installed later this month. We are adding a total of 17 new detectors to create a 5x6 detector array, providing a field of view on sky of about 40' x 48'.
